Yugioh Monster Countdown
There is a lot of controversy on the strongest and most useful yugioh monsters. Through my years as a duelist I have seen many strong cards. It has taken a while for me to order these monsters, because they are all good. Here's my opinion on the strongest monsters ever made.
earthbound immortal wiroqocha rasca
chaos emperor dragon
blue eyes shining dragon
vennominaga
sophia the goddess of rebirth
10. Star Eater

REVIEW
Star Eater is an amazing synchro monster. This high leveled synchro does not require any special type of tuning and can be summoned with any tuner and non-tuner, which match its level. It has okay attack and defense (I have seen better attack strength for this high of a level monster). A downside is that it cant be special summoned, so monster reborn can't help you here. However, it has an effect similar to that of the legal Egyptian god cards, so its summoning cant be stopped with things like trap hole and cards cant be activated until the end of the phase it was summoned. This card has another great bonus which makes it unstoppable when it attacks. It is unaffected when it attacks. So tricks like gravity bind wont work this time. With this kind of effect, you can attack without worrying about face downs! The only downside to this is that this monster can be destroyed during any other phase. Which means it is permanently stuck in the graveyard, due to its restriction on special summoning.
9. Wicked Avatar
DESCRIPTION
This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card cannot be normal or set except by tributing 3 monsters monsters. Your opponent cannot activate any spell or trap cards until the end of their 2nd turn after this card was normal summoned. The ATK and DEF of this card are each 100 points higher than the highest face-up monster's ATK on the field (except "The Wicked Avatar")
REVIEW
The Wicked Avatar is one of the three wicked gods, the rivals of the three Egyptian gods. This card has an amazing and game changing effect that amazes duelists. One downside to this card is that it cant be special summoned. But when it is summoned, by tributing three monsters it prevents your opponent from using spells and traps until the end of their 2nd turn after this card's summon. How cool is that. So, for two turns all your opponent can do is attack. Attacking wont do much good either, because this card always has more attack than all monsters on the field (Chaos Armityle Phantom is useless). So, in these two turns you can destroy your opponents monsters and s/he can't do s*** about it. The major weakness in this card is that you must have another monster out for it wage direct attacks. This is because, when all of your opponents monsters are destroyed this card's ATK becomes 0. However, if you you have another monster out it will have 100 ATK more than that card and can attack your opponent directly.
8. Odin Father of The Aesir
DESCRIPTION
Once per turn: You can make this card be unaffected by Spell/Trap effects until the the end of this turn. During the End Phase, if this face-up card you controlled was destroyed by your opponent's card (by battle or card effect) and sent to your Graveyard this turn: You can banish 1 "Nordic Ascendant" Tuner monster from your Graveyard; Special Summon this card. When Summoned this way: You can draw 1 card.REVIEW
Odin Father of The Aesir is the strongest of the three nordic/ polar god cards. Odin is also recognized one of the best cards in Yugioh 5ds. To begin with he is quite hard to summon, because of his tuner restriction. But with
"Valkyrie of the Nordic Ascendant" you can summon him quickly. The major bonus for this card is that you can make it unaffected by all spells and traps on your turn. This includes face downs, field spells and face up spells and traps. A negative factor is that it is vulnerable to monster effects and can be destroyed with spells and traps on your opponents turn. However, this card has an ability, which gives it two lives. By banishing the nordic ascendant tuner you have in your graveyard you can bring this card back and draw 1 card. If you have a dedicated deck for this card and have more than one nordic ascendant in your grave, then Odin has multiple lives and you can draw multiple cards. With a whopping high attack of 4000, you can deal your opponent a lot of damage with its unavoidable attacks.
7. Obelisk The Tormentor
DESCRIPTION
Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. When Normal Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. Cannot be targeted by Spells,Traps, or card effects. During the End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned: Send it to the Graveyard. You can Tribute 2 monsters; destroy all monsters your opponent controls. This card cannot declare an attack the turn this effect is activated.
REVIEW
As one of the legal versions of the god cards, obelisk takes 7th place with his awesome powers. Although in the anime, Winged Dragon of Ra was shown as the most powerful god (I vote for Slifer), in the playing card game, Obelisk is the mightiest. This is because of his powers of immunity from being targeted by card effects. He did get nerfed but he is still quite a force to be reckoned with. His abilities of clearing the field are still included.
